When I was a child in school in Blacklion Pete was my hero! I can still picture him driving Armstrong's red Morris lorry! When I last saw him he was the same Pete as I knew him then. My sincere sympathy to Maura and the family at this sad time but he sure lived a long and wonderful life.

We go back over half a century and longer. I recall my grandmother's visits to Peter's mother Kathleen in the early seventies. They were related and one of the oldest photographs May O'Keefe sent me has a lovely black and white photograph from over seventy years ago. Pete used to bring us to the championship matches in the seventies also. Dad, Francie Mc Cauley, Eamon and I. He understood football, a type of chess of the heart and mind, possessed an intellectually curious mind and was forever the kind gentleman and family man and dound neighbour. Condolences to Maura and family by whom he was known best of all.
