I have fond memories of Peter basking in the sun outside Cumberland House in the early 2000's, practising his French and talking about WW2. What a gentle and humorous man. May he be at peace now.

I was in Dalymount Park last night and heard of his passing when Bohs held a minutes silence for him. Terribly sad news. I went to school with Peter, followed Bohs with him and played football for Drumcondra Rangers with him - he was a great guy and probably the most talented footballer that I played on the same team with. I hadn't seen him for many years but this does not take away from the many good times that I spent in his company. May he rest in peace.
