It is hard to see you suffer and the saddening news came as such surprise. It is never easy to let go of beloved ones.

You should remember LOVE CAME FIRST...
You don't move on after a loss, but you have to go with it. You have to reach out to grief, welcome it, because it lives with you now. Pull a chair up to the table and offer it comfort. It is not the monster you first thought it was. It is love. And it will go with you now, stay with you now, peacefully. If you let it. And on the days when your anger is high, remember why it came, remember whom it represents. Remind yourself. Sorrow came to you because love came first. Love came first.

Fond memories of chats with Peter over the years on Larchfield Park, and his warm wit and wonderful spirit. May he Rest in Peace.

Sincere condolences to Chris and Tanja and the all of Peter’s family for this very sad loss. Since Chris and Bobbi met our family get togethers were always more entertaining when Peter was there. I always enjoyed the lively debates over rugby or listening to his deep knowledge of Irish trad/folk music. I always appreciated a whats app message from him letting me know about a big upcoming trad gig in London or video of a great music session in a bar. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
