Peter was a lovely neighbour. My father thought the world of him when he worked in Bolands Mills. He was sadly missed when he had to move out of the area.

It was with shock that we heard the news of Peter's death on Thursday morning. His presence was a welcoming and friendly one and I am glad that in some small way, we helped him feel safe over the last few years. The timing and circumstances of his death which hit us now should not overshadow the memories his friends in the Hostel have of this man, who had the honour of calling him 'friend'. My sincerest sympathies to Valerie and Peter's extended family. May he rest in Peace.
