Peter you were the very essence of what I consider a gentleman to be. We first met at UCD in 1965 and I remember well how struck I was with how friendly and engaging you were, and handsome! Quite the man on Earlsfort Tce then and, if I remember correctly, you wore a sheepskin coat and drove a white sports car, how suave! It was many years later that we met again and you hadn’t changed a bit. Rest in peace now old friend
