Peter was a genuine man,a true gentleman,a loyal friend of mine and all the Taylor family .We have very fond memories of Peter all through the years,We had many great road trips to football matches in Castlebar,Hyde Park,Mullingar and Croke Park stopping on the way home for "The Feed" then back to Taylors for the pints.Peter was so knowledgeable and his chosen subject was GAA.Peter was so proud of ye all when in the summer ye would come and play music in Taylors Peter looked forward to your visit. Peter I will contuine to play your game of Solitaire,but if you couldnt solve it, hardly will! .Rest in Peace Peter .

Saddened to hear of Peter's death, he was a great friend of my father, Paddy, who always enjoyed his company. They played together on the first Annaduff team after the club was reformed in 1958. It was always a joy to meet him. May he rest in peace.

Always so gentle, always a shy, welcoming smile, always quietly standing in the background taking everything in. He moved so gently through life yet his presence impacted so much of his communities’ lives on a daily basis. Weren’t we all so lucky to know him. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.
