Very saddened to learn only today of Peter’s death. I’ve very fond memories of the good times we shared, from school through working on cars. In adulthood we periodically met on business issues where his insightful mind and sense of craic always were appreciated. My condolences to his extended family.

Peter was full of craic and humour that was so infectious and so enjoyed at so many occasions in the quarry.

On top of that he was so much more. He called me up spontaneously when he heard from Mary that my car had given up the ghost. With the blink of ane eye and little time for a thankyou he sorted out a new red dynamo that is still going strong.

His kindness and good words in recent times during my das last days and after his death will always be remembered .
