My heartfelt condolences to Therese, Darren, Deirdre and Barbara, and to the wider Fields family on your unexpected and sudden loss. I hope that in time, fond memories will help to ease the pain of Peter's passing - May he Rest in Peace.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Thoughts are with you all.
Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to the Fields Family and Friends. I had the pleasure of knowing Peter while i worked in the Ordnance Survey many years ago. In Fact he dropped me to Hueston Train Station my very 1st week in the O.S to catch the Train home to Millstreet Co Cork. May he Rest in Peace.
Sincere sympathy to the Fields family on Peter’s passing may he rest in peace
Peter was a gentleman, with super professional knowledge of Ordnance Survey mapping and he acted with integrity and gentleness. Very sad to hear about his passing belatedly. May he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathies to the Fields family on the loss of our great friend Peter, truly one of a kind. His warmth radiated through everything he did in rugby and the standards he set for us all became a new benchmark that you dare not drop below! His sartorial elegance was exemplary and never failed either himself or those chosen to accompany him on club duty. In the world of GAA he was intensely proud of his Armagh roots and when we squirrelled 2 tickets for the Orchard County’s ground breaking All Ireland success in 2002, the smile on his face could have lit up every room in the house. He has left big boots to fill in Kilternan, but rest assured, we will ensure that his legacy will live on in his memory. Rest in eternal peace old friend.

Dear Therese, Darren, Deirdre, Barbara and the Fields Family,

On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to express our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved husband and father, Peter.

Since meeting Darren in 1983, whom I consider like a brother, and through him, I was blessed to know Peter. He was a remarkable man whose warmth, humour, and unforgettable wit brought joy to those around him. In some distant fashion, Peter was a fatherly figure to me. I will always cherish the memory of him introducing me to playing snooker and listening to country music, and of the day he encouraged me to learn Glen Campbell’s Wichita Lineman on the guitar—an experience that has stayed with me ever since.

Peter’s mischievous sparkle and witty look will be sorely missed, but his kindness and laughter will live on in the many lives he touched. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this time of grief.

With deepest sympathy,
Augustin De Gantho & Family

Here is a song I wrote for the family

https://app.box.com/s/rpmcdgz9jeq967o5yy13f1phpql510ob

Keep Going

One breath
Is all you've got to take
Just one breath
And life begins to wake

One step
The first one you will take
Just one step
And the world begins to shake

You gotta keep going
You gotta keep going

One look
Sometimes, that's what it takes
Just one look
To keep writing the book

You gotta keep going
You gotta keep going

One smile
Is all I have to give
Just one smile
Together we will live

Sincere condolence on the passing of Peter - a true gentleman . Peter was passionate about his rugby , more importantly he loved being apart of the team , the dressing room, and contributed more than anyone to its success . The 98 lads loved Peter and his rendition of the ‘’ Boys From the County Armagh ‘’ after they won the Under 20 final in College Park lives in the memory for those of us lucky to have been a part of it.

Peter truly leaves “many memories so glorious and grand’’ .

To Therese and the family , I am very sorry for your loss.
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Peter, his friendly smiles will be missed on our road.

So sorry to hear the news of Peters untimely passing

Always thoroughly enjoyed his company over so many years

His pride and enthusiasm for the club would rub off on those in his company, whether they were lucky enough to be involved in a team or committee he was running

And as for his love of Armagh when the championship came around…..we had many a banter over the years

Sincerest condolences to all the family
