as a child comeing to Clifden every year frtom Scotland for the summer holidays , it was always a pleasure to meet Peter he took the time to speak to me and always had a nice word to say, RIP Peter may God be good to you and make you as happy as you made the people of Clifden.

Sincere condolences to Monica and all the family. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have been coached by Peter will never forget the countless hours he dedicated to shaping our young GAA playing careers. Never one to take himself - or us- too seriously, being in his company was always great fun. I always enjoyed catching up with him when back in Clifden and his recollection of games and journeys to them were filled with characters and events as unique as he was. He selflessly gave so much to so many.

I really felt like it was the absolute truth about him, you know? It was amazing how incredibly generous he was, considering he was just a regular guy. I mean, after just one visit, I felt like I had known him forever. And the way he welcomed me into his family, it was just so heartwarming. What a beautiful and well-deserved tribute to him. He truly was a humble soul. he will be truly missed.
