Deepest sympathy for all the Goodman family; Peter was a true gentleman and always had a story to tell. I remember as a kid Peter used to visit my home to see my dad Frank. Sure you would hear the laughing of the both of them before you seen them in the kitchen yappin away. I have fond memories of Peter’s visits including the thick cloud of smoke he would fill the kitchen with from his camels, sure my mum (Noreen) would have all the windows open and it would make no difference at all at all :). Peter was always happy to share his passion for Irish history and folklore, and I had the pleasure of working with him a few times as he sang his opera from under the welding hat. His passing is a very sad loss for everyone who knew him and for the Goodman clan. I’ll always remember him as the uncle who had so much to say and share in an engaging and entertaining way. RIP PeterOwen, and please say hi to my Dad for me ❤️ 🙏
