So sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was a kind and generous colleague and I have fond memories of him. My sincere sympathy to Susan and family.
Sincere sympathies to Susan and family on the passing of their dearly beloved Peter. May he RIP. Remember him fondly in my days with UB. He had a style & panache that was always encouraging.
Dearest Nickey, “We’re built to cruise for but a while upon this trackless sea, until one day we sail away into infinity.” Wishing fair winds and following seas to your beloved Dad as he sets sails on his voyage to the next life. May all the loving memories carry you through this very sad time. Heartfelt condolences to you and your Mum. Lots of love Dervilla xx
I will remember Peter for many things but what always comes to mind is the loan he gave me to buy my first Ruffian, which I sailed for many years with great joy. When advising me of the Banks decision he said with a chuckle, that it was "Evelyns substantial account that swung the committee". I think she had eleven and six in it. We will both remember you with fondness and our sincere condolences to Susan and her family. Shay & Evelyn (In Grand Cayman)
Susan,
I greatly enjoyed a few years sailing for Peter on your Dragon. He was kindly and encouraging in sharing some of his great knowledge with a novice. Meeting him later one would appreciate the experience based wisdom of his words
My sympathy in your loss of a great companion

Sincere sympathy to Susan & Family on your great loss on the death of Peter. We both have had many constructive years of working with him in the Ulster Bank & many happy memories come floating back. He brought a depth of experience & knowledge to his chosen profession which he was only too willing to share with colleagues. A man of principle, who set high standards, Peter would always extend a helping hand to anyone struggling to come to grips with the issues involved. May he Rest in Peace
