Our deepest sympathy to all the Hayes family on the passing of Peter. He was always up for the craic, which was never in short supply, when he was around. The original 'Wicket Wolf' was the place where you were always sure to bump into him.
We as a family will never forget his kindness to our mam Cora, who absolutely loved him. When she would book his taxi for her medical appointments, she treated him like her personal chauffeur. He would have to wait for her until she was ready to go. Peter took it all in his stride and was so very good with her.
Peter will never be forgotten. Sleep well. R.I.P.

Not sure where to start … I have too many memories of you to capture in this short space. But one of most memorable of them is in The Fun Factory in Monkstown ….. circa 1991/1992 I had just gotten a new swatch pop watch and while playing with Amie in the ball pool my watch head popped off!! I was absolutely devastated 🥹 you spent about an hour wading through all the balls in the ball pit!!!! You were my hero that day (age 11) and your daughters Amie for the rest of your life.
