Dear Mary, I've been praying for you and your family since the passing on the death of your dear Peter so near Christmas, and want to pay tribute to his courage and kindness through his illness setbacks. What a kind and wonderful man with an amazing family. Recently I've been thinking of the early days of the Christian Family Movement and how you and Peter inspired me. Thank you. May you rest in peace Peter.

Coming to this rather late but I wanted to offer my condolences to Mary and family. In 1963 I spent Christmas in Ballygall Crescent as 7-year-old with my younger brother and sister (Danny and Linda). My dad (Sean) had been out-of-work for a long while (a long story). Peter - probably just out of the 'teens' himself - more or less 'bought' Christmas for us kids. My mother (Chris) never forgot it and neither have I.

So sad for you and your family Maria. Your dad must have been so proud of the beautiful family he raised with your mum. A job well done for sure.

I'm so deeply saddened by the loss of your Dad, Maria. Thinking of you, your Mum and your whole family at this difficult time.
