Vicki I have only just heard about your dad and send you and the family all my love and condolences. It was only at our Lough Dan dinner in December that you were telling us the plans of the whole family staying at your place for Christmas. It sounded wonderfully chaotic and I hope it happened and you had time together. I didn’t know Peter but if how you turned out is anything to go by he must have been quite a character because it’s a job well done. May he rest in peace. Love Zef.

I worked with Peter in Land Registry, we had such great chats about Galway where I lived for a few years, Rugby and Skibbereen where you and my Mom came from. Kevin,Patricia ,Ross and Dawn are so sorry to learn of the sudden death of Peter.We have been friends for over 60 years through rugby in Dublin,Edinburgh and Stirling County and Artigat. Lack of mobility has prevented us from being here today and we will watch the funeral on line. We have many memories of enjoyable times with Peter and Gerry.

Dear Geri, Tommy, Vicki, Kirsten, and family. Like everyone, we are extremely saddened by the passing of Peter. We spent many enjoyable social moments together, especially evenings, fetes in Artigat. Peter was always found at the center of things, his stories, his smile, his jokes bringing light and laughter. He was always kind and endlessly generous. Yvett and I were only just recalling the "royal arrival" in Sieuras on our wedding day, Peter at the wheel of his gleaming Mercedes, tie, suit, impeccable. I knew my lovely "wife to be" was in good hands! A day, a moment that will stay with us, and many others, forever. Thank you, Peter, for everything.

We count ourselves fortunate that when we moved to Artigat that we had the Guys in the same Commune. Whether at home or on Bar nights, discussing Irish heritage, the state of Rugby or life in general Peter was good humoured and great company (in addition to making Mike feel small!).
