Always greeted me with a wave and hello whenever i visited Kilrush over the years. I fondly remember him bringing a talented Kilrush Rangers team up to Dublin to play our Home Farm team. Great memories. RIP

My sympathies to all of Peters family, Peter was a colossal for soccer in Kilrush. Everyone who played for the Kilrush Rangers will always have wonderful memories of Peter, pacing the sidelines giving everything to encourage us all.

Our condolences to the Keating and O'Halloran families on Peter's passing.He was a gentle soul and so pleasant to meet. His feats with Kilrush Rangers are legendary. He was also an accomplished marathon runner and raised large sums of money for charitable causes. We will miss him from his favourite sitting down places at Mai McGrath's corner in Moore Street and at the window ledge of the Credit Union in Market Square. Go gently into the night, Peter. Often had the banter with him regarding Liverpool and Utd.
