I have fond memories of Peter when he worked with my Family in Athlone . I think it may have been his first job . He later joined Sid and the Saints . He was a true gentleman.

It was a shock to hear of Peter's sudden death and my prayers and thoughts are with all the family as they mourn such a lovely family man. I have fond memories of Peter and the love and kindness he showed to myself and my family on the times we visited Ireland. Good Luck dictated that I arranged to meet my brother Peter in The Prince of Wales Hotel Athlone on 11 Sep 2019. We had a pint or two a good chat and a laugh. Later on that day a friend of mine took a photograph of Peter myself and our sister Philomena which someone noted was a very rare event. Little did we know on that day it would be the last time we would be together. There are no consultations when death strikes suddenly but I will have the memory of the day I spent with my Brother Peter in Our Home Town of Athlone.

Peter was one of the great highlights of our trips. His kindness, wisdom and great humor were adored by all of us. He will truly be missed! We send our condolences to his family and to Marty and the Carr golf team.

I had the pleasure of being in Peter's company a couple of times. A wonderful gentleman, a great asset to Carr Golf and to the country of Ireland. Gone way too soon and sadly missed.
