I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news about Peter. Deepest sympathy to you, Cuana, and the family and the wider Kerr/Cunningham families. I have really fond memories of primary school in Ballycastle and Peter was a huge part of that for me and our group. He was gentle, loyal and a lot of fun. We lost touch – different schools, moving away etc - but it was always a delight to see him, especially in recent years walking through the Fair with the family. Terrible news about such a lovely man. Rest in peace, Peter.

So sorry to hear of Peters passing. Many fond memories of playing chasing round the lanes on long summer evenings with Peter and the gang, and watching him play endless games of Elite on his commodore 64 at the top of the house in the dark winter afternoons (he never gave us a go, but let us watch!). After not seeing him for decades, I was lucky enough to start randomly bump into Peter and his family almost every time I was in Ballycastle in recent years, and he still had that immensely mischievous spirit. A great loss for the family and everyone who knew him. RIP Peter.

Just heard the news about my great mate Peter.

I first met Peter 25 years ago in Sydney. At first I found him intriguing, then hilarious. We shared a house together & many great memories, then a few months later I met Cuana for the first time & knew the boy had made a wise decision.
We went our seperate ways & never lived in the same city or town again, but always remained friends. We'd catch up whenever we could, there were a few near misses but the friendship always remained intact. Now I will always miss him, he was one of the very few people who actually helped change the course of my life. He gave me the telling off I needed to hear, something that only true friends can do.

Nothing but love to all of the family & his children I was privileged to meet for the first time 5 years ago. His legacy & spirit lives on in them & he'll never be forgotten.
