Peter Kirkham

Peter was such a kind, gentle, man. He had such a fabulous sense of humour, a quick wit and a marvellous way with words. My life was richer for having him in it. He always brightened my day when I saw him round and about RMH and was my savour when I got lost looking for Hammersmith hospital. A man who left a mark on this world. I hope all the kind, funny memories help you over the coming months.

The Kirkham family were our neighbours in Ellesmere Port. Peter was a favourite of my Mum's and he kept in touch with her after we moved. Peter was kind and talented and loved his family. Our condolences to all of Peter's family.

Although I haven't seen Peter for many years it was with great sadness that I learned of his passing. This was a lovely service from the crematorium and the eulogy delivered by his daughter perfectly summed up the man that I had known all those years ago. I was also glad to hear that he had the sort of values that I endorse, as well as maintaining his support for Liverpool FC. There was further a great choice of music throughout

Deepest condolences to you all. I have known Peter for many years and I know he will be greatly missed. I still remember in 1972 when we were all courting and holidaying together at Middleton Towers. Auntie Muriel said he should be banned from entering knobbly knee competitions as he should have been classed as a professional as he used to win them all.
