Sylvia, deepest sympathy to you Audrey and Robert on loss of your dad. Pete was a very chatty lively, friendly man. I often chatted to him when I met him at the Marion road shops. Wesley and Pete often chatted outside our house when dad would be working in his garden and Pete would be out walking by. . They were jovial & fun conversations.Your dad was a lovely man. Your mum and dad would be proud of you all,the funeral was very moving. May Pete rest in peace.

Sincere thoughts with all Peter's family at this time. He was an honorary Irish man in true spirit. I was on the Park Committee with him for years and we had always lovely suppers after our meetings in each others houses. He gladly used his skill and engineering expertise when we were getting the gates and tennis courts. His culinary expertise shone as well as his great sense of humour when he joined the kitchen crew for the Meals and Wheels in Ballyroan, nothing was too much bother to him. You can all be really proud of your Dad and Mam and the contribution they both made to our local community. I would meet him most days when he was out with his dog and have a chat

Condolonces to Petes Family on his death. I got to know Pete when I worked in the Cafe at the Mill in Avoca Handwevers he used cycle there for lunch or coffee when he was down in his holiday home. He loved a chat and was always very plesent and friendly. May he rest in peace.

Completing this, I can't help but smile. A lovely, forthright man.
I'd meet him most evenings, no matter the weather, out for his walk; he'd always bring a smile to my face. Never fully sure when he was being serious. I always enjoyed our exchanges, simultaneously wary of what he might say one minute, and how he'd make you laugh the next. A gentleman.
