I took a long overdue trip to Carlingford last weekend to visit both the yacht club and Peter, and with huge sadness learn the club had closed and Peter had passed. An absolute gentleman who would never pass by Malahide without dropping into the house to say hello. An ancient history that involved young Arthur and Ron, and Arthur Senior which involved many shenanigans in Carlingford. All treasured memories.
Both Arthur’s are up there now to welcome Peter aboard the big boat in the sky.

My deepest sympathies Irene, Emma, Ron, and Jennifer on the sudden passing of your wonderful husband and Dad, Peter. I'll never forget the phenomenal craic we had with him at Jennifer and Mark's wedding back in the nineties. So welcoming and encouraging to us troublesome teenagers out in the caravan he was! May he rest in eternal peace.

What a Wonderful Gentleman.
What a great legacy to his family.

I am blessed to have known Peter since I worked with him in Kilsaran in the late 80's...a Friendship that endured for all these years since.

Peter was there ih the Good Times and there in the... not so good times...a true Friend.

Always looked forward to and enjoyed his company. Great times in Carlingford and meeting every week..


I will miss Peters humour, conversation, wisdom, positive spirit and kindnsss .
