Peter Magill

I have just heard of Peter's passing. May I offer you my condolences and confort. From my childhood Peter is the most beautiful souvenir I have. I recall Clongowes, Belfast, the Farm, and MonteCarlo and the south of France. Peter was total happiness. I have just read letters from him that I kept of that time, and tears came to my eyes. I wish you and the familiy strength to overcome the sorrow, but I am sure you will find the strength in the souvenir of what a wonderful man he was.

Sincere condolences on Peter's passing. We have lost a great surgeon, a friend, a colleague who entertained us with African surgical adventures at the North Eastern Surgical club over the years.

Mr Magill treated my Dad and apart from a successful outcome, I believe they had discussions about history. I don't know what type of history - Irish? European? All I know is that potentially difficult procedures proved much more pleasant. I hope the good work he did is some consolation to Mr Magill's family. May he rest in peace.
