Peter Malone

I was very sad to hear of Peter's sudden passing shortly before Christmas. Sincere condolences to Sharon, Claudia, Mara and the rest of the family. I have many happy memories of playing traditional music regularly with Pete and Sharon in Dublin in the late 90s and early 2000s. Pete was a very warm and kind man with a wide range of interests including music, sport and current affairs. Beannacht De lena anam uasal.

Dear Sharon, Mara, and Claudia, I was so saddened to hear of Pete's passing. Even though I didn't know him very well, we always had lovely chats whenever our paths did cross. He was kind and gentle, and a genuinely nice guy. I remember seeing his collection of guitars on the wall at one time, and envied his 12-string. We chatted about that too, and it brings a half-smile across my face now.

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it today as I really wanted to be there. I would have liked to give you Sharon a hug so much.
