Linda and Caroline, as a patient in hospital this week, I am sadly unable to join you as you say farewell to your Dad. He was a man I greatly admired, as an expert jury member on Radharc Awards, with vast knowledge of the medium of television, and a deep sense of compassion and love. May the good Lord welcome him with open arms as he rejoins his beloved Irene. May the same Lord comfort you all, Peter's nearest and dearest.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Peter. Worked with him on many programmes in RTE especially when he was a producer on Anything Goes, the very popular young peoples television show I presented with others. Sincere sympathy to Linda, Caroline and all his family on their great loss.

On behalf of the "Knockout" crew it was really an honour to know Peter who was a true gentleman.
Peter also visited us in England and again when we returned to Clonakilty he made the effort to attend John's 80th birthday with his beloved Irene.We had a wonderful weekend together and really appreciated him travelling down to West Cork to surprise John. His attitude was to quote the song "the cares of tomorrow must wait till this day is done". We were really shocked to hear of his sudden passing and offer our sincere condolences to Linda and Caroline. May he rest in peace with his beloved Irene xx

Peter was good friends with my own recently deceased father and we had a brief chat after the funeral. I understand he was very well regarded in RTE by those who knew him. RIP Peter. From Niall Mc Dermot and my mother Christine.

Brendan Both John and I are so sorry to hear of Peters sudden death.I know how he consoled you after Ruth died.He was a wonderful support to you then .Please give my love to Mary and your family .

Peter Was a lovely man to work under. As Producer / Director, he called the shots and ran the show. He was a gentleman to the core and was very earthed. His mother lived directly behind me in Park Drive and she was a lovely gentle soul also. Thinking of Mary, daughters and family, may Peter rest in peace.
