It was a pleasure to know him and in our great year of 1995 he was a wonderful guiding force and a depth of knowledge and fair play .

I was very sorry when I heard of Peter’s passing. He was a truly lovely gentleman who helped me out on many an occasion when I was experiencing car problems. I would ring him up at any hour of the day or night and he never let me down. Nothing was too much bother to him and anytime I called to his house he always had an interesting story or observation on life. I trust he is now resting in peace as he has truly earned it.
