Pete, I’m only getting to reading these now, it appears that quite a few people liked you.... I’m as surprised as you! I note that once two months have passed that no more comments are allowed. So I’ll leave this here as a bookmark as such. I’m glad to say that over the last month and a bit that we’ve laughed more than we’ve cried. I think that’s how you’d want it. We think about you every day and we miss you terribly. Your memory lives on so you’ll never really be gone. Only hearing about this sad news belatedly. I was Peter's "Canadian cousin" and I looked up to him quite a bit. We shared a grá for baseball among other things. As adults, we lost contact a little bit but I will always remember him as a wonderful and witty guy. Truly sorry to hear this and deepest condolences to his family.

Then years later, back in Cork, and how Peter’s sense of dry, understated humour used to crack Roscha up in the dental chair. A raised eyebrow said a thousand words.
