I was truly saddened and shocked by the news of Peter's untimely death A lovely, sound, decent man always friendly and willing to help - may he enjoy eternal rest and happiness in heaven.

It was very sad to hear of Peter's passing. It was a long time ago now, but thinking of our time in Westland Row and Peter's joking around and great wit, it brings back good memories. Rest in Peace.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Peter. Sincere condolences to Peter’s brother and wider family. Peter was a wonderful colleague who helped me so many times with IT issues. I was always glad to hear his voice on the helpline as I knew he’d fix things. May Peter rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to John, the wider family and Peter's many friends and colleagues. Peter was one of the first people I met in the Custom House when I joined the Department and was lucky enough to sit beside him. He was so welcoming and introduced me to the ICT family which he was such an important part of for so many years. He was a great work colleague and I learned so much from him. Nothing was ever too big or small of an ask and he was always such a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.

I hope the many messages here from his many former and current colleagues bring you some comfort in the difficult times you face ahead.

Very sorry to hear of Peter’s sudden passing. He was always a kind, patient and friendly colleague. He was obliging and personable, and he preferred to call and talk with you rather than impersonal emails. He was a gentleman and will be greatly missed by colleagues. I had the great pleasure of working with Peter in CH, he was always supportive, willing to help and to have a good laugh along the way. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Peter’s sudden passing. My deepest sympathy to John, his twin brother, extended family and many friends. My memory of him when working in IT Unit was of a true gentleman who was always so obliging, co-operative and helpful. There were no problems in Peter’s eyes, he only entertained solutions. Thinking of you all at this very sad time and may all the good memories bring some comfort and peace to you. May he rest in peace.

Peter was a lovely chap who worked in the room next to me in the Custom House for several years. Always very obliging when it came to helping with a course application or just for general guidance. I enjoyed talking with Peter about football and just shooting the breeze. My condolences to his immediate family and friends. Rest in Peace.
