Very sorry to hear of the passing of Peter. I worked with him in the early 1970s in Best Ltd, North Earl Street. We had wonderful chats about our mutual interest in music and had many laughs at the antics that some of the staff got up to at the time.

A truly sad, but very fond farewell to our dear friend Peter. I was lucky enough to work alongside Peter for close to 13yrs & we seen it all in our time in Best Stillorgan. A fantastic man for a story, unrivalled knowledge of music & sport and a genuinely lovely man to be around. We all learned so much from Peter & were lucky to continue our friendship even after no longer working together. One of lifes good guys, and an extremely caring soul. We will raise a glass to you Peter, and no doubt "one for the road, and the ditch too" Condolences to the family & Peter's wide circle of friends x
