Peter (Peadar) Spencer

So sorry to hear about Peters death. I have fond memories of working with Peter in Distillery Road, Fitting Staff and Summerhill with the Coin Box conversions after the budget’s changes.
After the big restruction we moved to Cabra AEH and Peter was dispatched to the South side. We had great times. Peter was an absolute gentleman. I can see Peter now on the other side of the Golden gates sitting around a table with Jimmy, Jim, Charlie, Ronnie, Mossy, Ronnie, Christy, Matt and Phil going back on all the old stories while eating a bag of chips.

So sad to hear of Peter's passing. I met Peter on my first day on the Fitting Staff in Distillery Road in March 1964. Peter was an absolute gentleman and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. My sincere sympathies at this very sad time to Peter's family, may he Rest in Peace.

Sad to hear about Peter,as we knew him in Telecom. A very good humoured colleague and Boss. He allowed me to go on a truck driving course in 1989 and when I retired I got a job driving the 75 bus during COVID. I was grateful for that and thought of Peter many times whilst driving.

An absolute gentleman in every aspect. Always happy and in good spirits. Peter always found the time to help me out when i had a problem, be it with some tools or simply just sharing his knowledge. He always found the time to stop and say hello to my kids, he made all of our family feel welcome. You genuinely couldn't ask for nicer neighbours than Peter & Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by us all. RIP Peader. One of the good guys.
