My condolences to all Petes family and friends, I worked with Pete in Java many years ago, Pete was a top bloke always very helpful and of course always had that big smile. In more recent years I would occasionally bump into Pete in Howth & Bayside and we would always have a great catch up.

We loved going to Java & it is our special place, Peter didn’t know us but every time we went (often) for the last 5 years, he would wave out & it made our visit very special. We watched him intently as he worked & could tell he was a genuinely lovely man with a big smile. We will miss his presence in Java, it won’t be the same. Thoughts are with his fiancée & families, sorry for your huge loss

Extremely shocked and saddened to hear of Pete’s passing. We were work colleagues for six years in Java Republic, where he went out of his way to make me feel welcome when I first joined and continued to be a source of great craic over my time there. Such a warm, friendly, obliging bloke - I liked him enormously and have nothing but fond memories of him. I am heartbroken for his family, friends and work colleagues. May he rest in peace.

Dear family
With a heavy heart and deep sorrow, I address you to share the painful news of the sudden passing of our cherished friend and colleague, Peter. This loss deeply affects each one of us, and I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of you.
Peter was not just a team member; he was an essential pillar of our work family. Over his 17 years of dedication to Java Republic, he left an indelible mark on our hearts and the legacy of our company. His enthusiasm for exploring new blends and tackling new challenges was a constant source of inspiration and creativity.
As we remember Peter, I envision him with that infectious smile that brightened our offices. Every time we ascended the spiral staircase, his warm greeting and positive demeanor reminded us of the importance of camaraderie and a love for our work.
Despite the distance between us, I want you to feel my closeness and support during these challenging times. The pain we share is a bond that transcends geographic boundaries, and I want you to know that I am here for you in spirit.
Let's take a moment together to reflect on Peter's legacy: his unwavering spirit, his tireless pursuit of excellence, and the deep affection he held for our company. While his absence hurts, let's also celebrate the many contributions he made and the memories we will forever cherish.

With sincere condolences and warmth,

By all accounts that I have read and heard about Pete, he was universally loved by everyone who encountered him and that he was one of lifes true gentlemen. He will be sadly missed by you all but if there is any consolation from the sadness of his sudden parting is that he has made a considerable impact on the lives of those whom he met. He has lived a reflection of the love that he got from you both May and John and from Darren, Valerie and Joanne growing up at home and in later life from Debbie and his children Aoife and Max. Sympathies to you all. Rest in peace Peter.
— Tom Brabazon
Rest in peace Peter.

For 5 years every morning when I would walk into work at Java Republic you were the first person I would see, and every morning without fail you had a nod, a smile or a wave to greet me. You were an absolute gentleman, with a fantastic sense of humour and I know you brightened so many people’s days.

You were always so obliging, the first to help or lend a hand if needed. You helped me so many times during client visits and made their experiences at Java so memorable.

But most of all you were a people person, you thrived on banter and in turn you created a fantastic fun place to be.

You will be greatly missed Pete.
