I only got to know Peter later in my life when he found out who I was as he had been very friendly with my elder brothers. I enjoyed his chats when he came to Galway in any of the shops i worked in over the years. We always smiled when we said only Galweigans would know where Dalys Place is in Galway.!!

I know I tried his patience on more than one occasion. He genuinely cared for all of us. He was my favorite teacher while a student at Kylemore.
