Peter was a lovely gentleman, always nice and engaging
He was also a great supporter of Christian Aid Ireland annual hike; Christian Aid Sheeps Head Hike and we enjoyed his annual participation on the day over many years on the hills,routes of the peninsula and supporting the work of Christian Aid worldwide. We will remember Peter as a wonderful supporter as we gather on Saturday 2nd September and you all will be in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time of his passing.

Sincere sympathy to Jean, Brian, Mark and all the extended family. Peter was a lifelong friend of my mum, Joan and her brother Tom. She often regaled us with their escapades. No doubt they are reminiscing again now. Rest in peace Peter. A gentleman.

"Uncle" Peter, we called him. A legend. He shared our childhoods, and never a dull moment.
As youngsters mum and Peter brought us climbing hills, then the compass was introduced so it became Orienteering. Rods arrived and we went fishing.
Then the seagul engine appeared, and we chugged out into the middle of the atlantic, catching fish with feathers, watching porpoises, visiting caves.
Next it was sailing.......
Always something new, exciting, always an adventure.
He had hens, dogs and a really great laugh. We had amazing fun.
Peter, we thank you for that.
