I have so many happy memories of meeting him at family events (highlight being Italia 90 BBQs) and bumping into him in the Imperial Hotel. He had a wonderful presence! May he rest in peace. I was an employee in the Imperial for years. I started as a young porter and worked my way up. Mr Peter as he liked to be called was supportive and recognised hard work, and for that I am grateful.
