Deepest Sympathy to the extended Rennie family. I only met Peter in the latter years of his life. He was such a kind and gentle soul and the most wonderful loving carer to his beloved wife Ann. It was a joy and privilege to know him.

Dear Pete. I'm sad I never got to say goodbye to such a good friend and confident. I will truly miss our chats about music computers and politics. Your passing leaves me sad that I will never speak with you again. We bonded over Metallica Pink Floyd his hatred of the EU and my total indifference to it all. We understood each other and the world will be a sadder place without him. Rest in Peace my friend.

What an absolute pleasure to have known Pete, always stopped to chat with the staff , with his quick witted one liners, he could say anything weather it was good or bad but that’s why we loved him. Rest in peace and Rock on Pete 🤘

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Pete in the shop, he would always put a smile on our faces with his quick witted one liners and chats, he would stop to talk to every single member of staff about everything and anything , good or bad and that’s why we loved him. My brother, Peter Rennie, was a brave spirit, always facing difficulties with courage and determination. He suffered so much over recent years, and he knew time was running out and there were very distressing decisions that had to be made. Fate decided for him.
His long and loving marriage to Anne was celebrated in the recent art exhibition he arranged.
He loved his life in Tallow and I and my family are so grateful for all the kindness of friends and neighbours. I’m sorry circumstances made difficult to visit and know you better . Thank you all you did to make Peter and Anne part of your community.
