My sincere condolences to Peter’s family on his recent passing. Peter was not only an excellent lecturer in DCU but also a great teacher which was not easy to come by in the school of chemistry. He genuinely cared about the students and how they were getting on. May he rest in eternal peace.

My sincere condolences to Valerie and all the Kenny family following Peters recent passing. I hadn’t seen him for many years but we shared plenty of happy times as he was a great mentor and friend during my studies. We shared some great memories in DCU whether it had been the Christmas Lunches, conferences or just a normal after work drink, Peter was always so funny, passionate and always so supportive and always had a great story or memory to share with us. May he rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to Valerie, the Kenny and Moffat families on the sudden passing of Sam. Gone far too soon. Such great memories of growing up in Templeville all those years ago. May he now rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to Valerie and all the Kenny family following “Sam’s” recent passing. I hadn’t seen him for many years but we shared plenty of happy times particularly during our school-going and early adult years. I have vivid memories of playing street football in Templeville and at “The Big Tree”, walking to and from Templeogue College on most days when we chatted about music and the quality of the bands at the time (I recall him being a huge Deep Purple fan), back in 1972 making our way to our part-time job, in what was then Quinnsworth, Rathfarnham, by sliding across the pipe over the River Dodder as well as accompanying him to numerous League of Ireland games in Dalymount and Milltown during the late 70’s/early 80’s. Sam was smart and intelligent and always great fun to be around, He will be sadly missed by all. May he rest in peace.
