So sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I have known Peter since our school days and we were part of a group of friends. I often met him when I was visiting Tullamore and we would reminise about old times. RIP Peter and condolences to your family.

My sincere condolences to all of Peter's family.

I am a niece of Bernie Quinn who worked with Peter in Tullamore mart for a long time. Ironically Bernie is in the same nursing home and is also suffering from Parkinson;s. Despite the fact that I grew up in Sligo I always spent my summer holidays in Kilbeggan and would often go to the mart with my aunt.

Peter and Eileen were always very welcoming .

Peter regularly visited Bernie in her room in Esker Rí and was a quiet reassurance to her. Bernie always spoke well of Peter. I was fortunate enough to have a chance to have a chat with him the last time that I was in Esker Rí
