I am so sad to hear about Peter. Your Family and mine have been so close over many years and have many special bonds.

Personally I will be eternally grateful to Peter for saving my life. That terrible night, he knew what was wrong with me, bravely treated me immediately and then got me from Naas to Crumlin Children’s Hospital in 12 minutes where the brilliant Doctors and nurses took things from there!

Without Peter, I believe I would not be here today. My gratitude and appreciation is something I am glad to have had the honor to say to him in person.

Dad, I never thought I would find myself writing these words here, expressing how we feel about you in the public domain. I'm not even sure if it's the done thing.. Great memories of working with Peter in NGH. Always so professional, kind ,loyal and one felt safe when Peter was with you on the many ambulance calls. We even delivered babies together on way to Holles Street. My happiest memory was of Peter driving me to my Wedding in 1972. We got a puncture on the way but Peter had it sorted and handled it with no fuss ,just chatted away and entertained my Dad and me.
