Condolences to Peters family and friends may he rest in peace
On behalf of the St Marys East GAA club we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Torpey family, Kill GAA Club and the wide circle of friends of Peter Torpey who has passed away too early in life following a short illness. Peter was the first Secretary of our club when we formed in 2023 and has held both coach and selector positions over the last 3 years.
When the opportunity came for the formation of our club, Peter was the man that had his hand up first to do whatever it took to get it off the ground, for that he will be remembered and we will be forever thankful. Peter's presence in our club will be missed, most especially on the field as he was always there to offer his support and advice to every player no matter what age they were or where they came from. Heavens gain is our loss but we do know that he will be watching down on us encouraging, supporting and wishing for future success in the club.
