So sad at Peter's passing. I was proud to play alongside him and I think he was 42 when we played a tournament game in Martry in Meath, and he was still our best player... On the field he was Mr Perpetual Motion - no matter where you were, Peter was beside you ready to take a pass if you were in trouble... off the field he was a true gentle soul... my deepest condolences to his lovely family and his cousins and all thoxe around Clara who held him in the highest regard, like I did as well. I worked with Peter in bopa on the wash down..for a man at his age at that time he'd put young lads to shame the work he done after 5 o'clock..and I worked with his son Fra ...I use to love pe talking about football even tho I was a bottle washer from tullamore as he told me many a time..all just harmless slaging back then...Clara lost a legend and I'm so sorry for all the family..

So Sad to hear the news of Peters passing ! A very quiet spoken gentleman ! May his gentle soul now Rest in Eternal Peace !
