We were saddened to learn of Peter's death. Our girls, Niamh and Orlagh, are adults now but he looked after them so well when they travelled to and from Barryroe National School on the school bus. He always made sure that they crossed the road safely before taking off again. A very caring man. May Peter's spirit soar high above the trees, watching over you his loving family.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Peter. He was our children's bus driver for many years in Barryroe & was deeply missed when he retired. Sincere condolences to all his family & friends. May he rest in peace.

It’s wonderful to read these condolences, clearly Pete touched so many peoples lives. He was never one to follow the crowd or stick to the path. He did things his way.
