Peter Woods

My memories of Peter stretch back to when, as a child I walked on a Friday morning from mass to school in Bamber Bridge and I would regularly see Peter, his brother Frank and their dad Pop (with his violin) running to catch the train to Blackburn. That was about 85 years ago.
Later, Peter was the best man when Frank & I got married.
Reunited with them both, may he rest in peace.

Peter was always very caring to us all and loved to share his home grown fruits, always a bag of apples hanging on the gate. A great neighbour who was always willing to help out . We were always getting his surplus fruit and veg which were grown in their garden. He was a great man to chat especially about his trips and where he worked. We will miss him. May Peter rest in peace.
