My condolences to the Brennans and Lavins on the loss of your smiling, lively mother and "Aunty Phil", as she would always be referred to by all of us growing up on the Howth Road. We'd meet Aunty Phil and her husband visiting Jimmy&Maureen. My condolences too to "Uncle Donald". There was always a tremendous, close sense of family in 383 and on all sides and her loss is surely deeply felt. Mo chomhbhrón libh go léir.

Enda, Emer, Sean & Aidan, I just heard the sad news of Phil’s passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I loved the banter and her great sense of humour. She was a good friend to mum when we were growing up in Hollybrook. I remember the craic they had at the dinner dances in the old Hollybrook Hotel. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Phil’s passing. I have the fondest memories of our childhood visits to Dublin which we always looked forward to, as well as their visits to us in Ballinasloe. I will treasure the memories of my Aunt Katie, husband John and all of my Lavin cousins, who were like siblings to me.
