My sympathy to Maria & Jan on the death of Phil RIP and also that of your Mother Myra RIP. I thought recently that I had not heard from him for some time - consequently the search here. A gentleman to deal with who loved his Subaru's. RIP Phil.

Maria and Jan very sorry to hear of Phil’s passing. He was a gentleman to his fingertips. He looked after so many of us with car sales and service for years especially the Subarus and with great humour. He always went out of his way to sort the cars especially for my late Dad. A legend, Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

To Jan, Maria & all of Phil's family and friends from the garage. Sympathies on the death of Phil, he was a special, one of kind gentleman and friend of the Healy family , especially to my Dad Ben (deceased) who bought one of many Renaults, VWs, Subarus , Toyotas from Phil from the 1980s.

May he rest in peace, for sure Duncormick won't be the same without him.

Maria, I often think of the diversions we’d take on the way back from college into Waterford City to collect this or that for Phil. The pair of you had a great understanding. Such sad news to hear. I know Phil since 1999 when the Subaru journey began and i loved my trips to Duncormick. Sure call down for 20 minutes and id be there for hours.....he always knew what car to have parked in view to peak my interest. A pure gentleman in every way and always there to help. Condolences to the family and i must include Owen in that too. Subarus wont be the same. I will miss 'well garrrrrr' dearly. RIP.

Phil was a great man, from a very young age we would visit, it was the only place my dad would go to get a car, i always got a few pence off Phil and got to sample all the cars in the lot...i went back 20 years ago and got my first car off him even though we live in west cork, it was a trek to Duncormack but worth the trip! A great man, may he rest in eternal peace.

Phil's death is a great shock and loss to so many of us, customers who soon became friends. A great character, a man of great wit, integrity and dependability, he gave car salesmen a good name. Our deepest sympathy to Maria and Eugene and Jan and Niall. Rest in peace old pal.
