Sincere condolences to Phil’s children , in-laws and extended family . I met Phil quite a few years ago when we served on the Board of County Kildare Failte (the County Tourism Board). Such a lovely kind Lady, I always enjoyed her company. Over the years I regularly met her in Croke Park and the Irish National Stud . I was delighted to have known her . I was shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Phil. Our families, Meagher and O’Loughlins , we all grew up and went to school together. A group of us enjoyed a lovely lunch in Enfield before Christmas and agreed we would meet again in April. Sadly that won’t happen. I regret not being able to attend the funeral as I am out of the country. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May Phil’s soul rest in peace.
