Dear Tom, news of Phil's passing was late reaching me and I am so very sorry for your loss. You have been a couple who have contributed so much to your various communities and you stand as a beacon for the rest of us. My condolences to you and your wonderful family.

Dearest Emer, I am so very sorry to hear about your Mum. I can only imagine how tough this time is for you and your family. I’m thinking of you, and especially your Dad. I hope in time you’ll find comfort in knowing how much of a difference you made to your Mums’ life. Please know I’m holding you in my thoughts and I’m here if you need me.

Dear Tom and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Phil's passing. We were at UCC together and, after many years, met again in Elm Park. She was one of my frequent bridge partners and I really enjoyed playing with her. I, together with her many friends in Elm Park, will miss her greatly. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.
