When Phil joined the RTC as a staff member, I joined as a student and can remember her for her kindness to us all.
I later joined the RTC as a colleague and valued her deep knowledge of the systems and her work ethic. Her concern for both staff and students was legendary, always there to help!
So sorry she could not have enjoyed her well deserved retirement for longer.

I never had the pleasure of working with Phil, but since I began in GMIT, I have heard of the legacy that Phil left with the work she did for students. Every member of staff I've met has always spoke so highly of Phil and the truly brilliant, caring work she left behind. From anything I've heard of her, she seemed like such a wonderful person who did so much for other people. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I knew Phil before I joined GMIT and often bumped into her socialising and enjoying life with her good friend Josie Kelly who passed in 2001. Phil worked over & above in relation to her role in GMIT and was always available to lecturers and students alike. Her knowledge of GMIT processes was immense and the area of CAO and Graduation Day was her forte.
