Sincere sympathies to all the Ryan family at this time. You gave Phil a beautiful life and a beautiful send off. He is deeply missed by all his Wheatfield family.

We had a nice routine of walking in together on Friday's. He'd wait for me in the car park and have a few books for me.
He'd also call into the house after work every few weeks for a cup of tea and a chat with my family and I. He was a kind, thoughtful gentleman who was so proud of all his family. I'll miss him, his stories and visits. He is where he wants to be, with his beloved Gertrude x Rest in peace Phil

A good friend and a dedicated and gifted colleague who never stopped sharing his knowledge and skills with others even for many years after his retirement from lecturing in IT Carlow. Phil, always welcoming, was an all-rounder, who himself was always welcomed at any gathering of people for his knowledgeable and witty contributions. Phil will be very much missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him. I have many great memories of occasions in his company that still bring a smile to my face. May Phil rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing 🙏
