Philip BALL

It is with shock and immense sadness that I have just learned of the very untimely passing of dear Phil.

I had the delight of meeting him on a few occasions. His achievement of a degree in architecture, somewhat later in life, left me most impressed.

More impressive was his dedication and love for his wife Jennifer and their dear son, William as evidenced by the beautiful eulogy at his funeral service.

He was always ready to lend a hand to those who needed it.

My condolences to Jenn, William and Phil's dear mother, Dorothy. I am not able to imagine the impact of the loss of a husband, father and son and the emotional and other consequences thereof.

May Phil rest in eternal peace.
