Philip Bernard (Ben) Donoghue

I have only just heard of Ben's passing, and send my sincere sympathy to all of the Donoghue family. He worked with my late dad, Aidan O'Connor, many years ago for Murphys, and dad would always talk so fondly of him, and was so pleased to see his success. We so appreciated that Ben's son attended dad's funeral, and hope that the high regard everyone has for Ben will be some comfort to you all now. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was sadden by the news of Ben’s passing. I always enjoyed meeting Ben and Elizabeth throughout the years, such a wonderful gentleman.

He will be sadly missed by all of his friends here in his native Leitrim but I'm sure by nobody more that his beloved wife Elizabeth, I don't think I have ever seen one of you without the other over the years, loyal and loving comrades always.
