It is with great sadness we hear of Philip's death. We have known him since 1968 and loved to hear him sing. I can still hear his laugh when I tried to get him to sing Ava Maria during our lunch break in Bryan S Ryan in Dawson Street. Enjoy singing with the Angles Philip.
We will pray for your family who will miss you so much.

So sad to hear of Philip's death. It was so nice to meet up with him in the last few months with Don & Mary. Many happy memories of Philip and especially when he sang at my wedding 25 yrs ago and all our happy days in Bryan S. Ryan.
very sorry to hear this news. my first leading role in a musical was in patience in edmund rice choral and musical society in waterford and philip played the part of grovner with joan merrigan as patience. happy times and great fun. sad to hear this.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Kathy and family at this sad time RIP
Very sorry to hear about the sad loss of Phillip who was much liked by my late Dad Maurice O'Sullivan and all the family. Deepest condolences to Kathy and the children.
Kathy - I would like to offer you my deepest sympathy on the death of Philip. I knew Philip since I came to Dublin 30 years ago when he came into Guinness selling typewriters and then I met him again when I was involved with R&R. He was always great company and I cannot imagine what you must be going through now. Dodo will have a great welcome for him but sadly he was far too young to die.
Dear Kathy, Conor and Aoife,
I am so very sorry to hear about the death of dear Philip. He was a very special man, full of kindness and generosity of spirit as well as being immensely talented.
I have so many happy memories of the many times we sang together. My late father, Ciaran who worked with Philip as musical director, was very fond of your Dad and from early on in Philip's career was aware of his great talent both as a singer and as an actor. They are now, along with all the great musicians who have gone before us, enjoying the music making which is to be found in Heaven. May his dear soul rest in peace. Niamh xxx

I knew Philip when I worked with him in Bryan S Ryan. He was a wonderful man and I was deeply saddened by his passing. I will always think of him walking a beach in Spain which is where he was when I rang him several times. May he rest in peace.
