Philip Charles O’Gorman

I’ve just heard of the sad passing of Mr. O’Gorman who taught me at St. Joseph’s.

He will be in my thoughts, and sending all the best to the entire family during this difficult time xx

He was an inspirational teacher and gave me great advice on my career choice. Never forgot the comments he gave me on one assignment I did which was on 'price elasticity of demand'. "Thats second year university standard" he said. May he Rest in Peace.

He was always so genuinely interested in what was happening in other's lives and always had that searching question or two. I will really miss meeting up with him.

Kati has shared with us many stories about the love and support she has received from her parents-in-law while building a life with her husband Cian and son Caelan in her adopted home country Ireland. Philip will be greatly missed.

Philip was not only a winner on the stage and on the sports field but also at the races. I recall a good staff night out at the races in Ballinrobe where Phillip had the big win of the evening.
